Slovakian tourist seriously injured after crashing his motorbike into a tree in Kathu

A Slovakian tourist has sustained serious injuries after he crashed his motorbike into a tree in Kathu.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident yesterday (December 28th) on Kathu Waterfall Road.

Emergency responders and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the injured man who was later identified as Mr. Jozef Sykora, 41, from Trnava, Slovakia. He had sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital.

Nearby, rescue workers found the damaged motorbike near a tree. Police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of accident.
