Phuket Airport holds major fire drill

The Phuket International Airport has announced that they held a fire practice which included a significant amount of smoke as part of the drill.

The Phuket International Airport has announced they will hold a fire practice which will include a significant amount of smoke as part of the drill.

The drill today (November 29th) started at 10:00 A.M. to midday near Runway 27. During the practice, a large amount of smoke was sent into the air around the airport. The airport staff has apologized for the inconvenience.

These drills are regularly held with ample warnings to the public due to concerns about smoke and fire from the airport.
