Phuket Airport to hold major fire drill early next week

Phuket-

The Phuket International Airport has announced they will hold a fire practice which will include a significant amount of smoke as part of the drill.

The Phuket International Airport yesterday (November 25th) has announced that they will hold a fire drill on Tuesday (November 29th), 2022 at 10:00 A.M. to midday near Runway 27.

During the practice, a large amount of smoke will be sent into the air around the airport. The airport staff has apologized for the inconvenience.

The Phuket Express notes that the Phuket International Airport has to announce this to the public every time before a fire drill because sometimes local residents were unaware that the situation at the airport was just a practice and became legitimately alarmed in the past.
