Unidentified girl injured from surfing at Kamala Beach

An unidentified girl has sustained injuries from surfing at Kamala Beach.

Kamala rescue teams reported they were notified of the incident yesterday (October 2nd) at Kamala Beach, Kathu district.

They arrived at the beach to find the girl who had sustained head injuries. She was taken to a local hospital. The Phuket Express noted her age, name, and nationality was not given.

Strong waves and winds have been present recently in Phuket due to various storms and high pressure systems in the general vicinity.
