A 31-year-old man has been arrested after he slashed his friend with a knife in front of a girl in Wichit.

A 31-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after he was allegedly slashed with a knife by his friend on a road in Wichit in broad daylight last week.

 Updated story:

The Wichit Police reported yesterday (August 29th) that they have arrested the suspect Mr. Anupat, 31, at a mansion in the Wichit sub-district, Mueang Phuket district.

He admitted to the police that he was drunk before he and his friend started an argument and fought. He said he is sorry. He did not mean to attempt to kill his friend.

However, he is facing charges of attempted homicide.
