Electric cable fire in Patong alarms residents

Patong, Phuket –

Electric cables caught fire in Patong yesterday (June 24th) and alarmed local residents.

Firefighters from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of the Patong Municipality were notified of the fire on Pisit Koranee Road at 6:15 P.M. near the Wang Keeon Waterfall.

They arrived at the scene with a fire engine to find the fire was already ablaze. It took about 5 minutes to put out and control the fire. Electric cables were damaged but no injuries were reported.
