  A food delivery rider allegedly stole a bag with 1,500 baht cash from a security guard at a housing estate in the Thalang district earlier this week, the second similar incident this week.

First, our previous story:

A food delivery rider allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a security guard at a college in the Thalang district earlier this week.

Another similar incident this week, involving a security guard who works at a housing estate in the Cherng Talay area and also asked the press to not be named told The Phuket Express, “I went to a toilet when the suspect, who appeared to be a food delivery rider with a food crate on the back of his motorbike, stopped at my security guard box.”

“He went inside the security box before he took my bag which had 1,500 baht in cash and important documents before speeding away on his motorbike.” The guard stated.

“I have already filed a report to the Cherng Talay Police.” The guard concluded

Phuket Police are searching for the suspect(s) and the CCTV footage has been made available below.
