Phuket –

A 76-year-old German tourist with memory loss issues who spent over a week missing in Sirinat National Park, which is about 15 kilometers away from her hotel in the Mai Khao sub-district, was released from a hospital in Phuket yesterday (May 23rd).

First, our previous story:

Last week the Phuket Governor visited a 76-year-old German tourist at a hospital in Phuket after being found following a week of being missing.

Now for our updated story:

Yesterday, (May 23rd), a team from the Phuket Tourist Assistance Center (TAC) assisted Ms. Barbara Lange, 76, and her family at the Bangkok Hospital in Phuket after she was released from the hospital.

Ms. Lange was treated at the hospital for a week for exhaustion and weakness since May 16th last week after she was found. Ms. Lange and her family were back at a hotel in the Maikhao sub-district where her family said she was doing well…but would not be allowed out for any unescorted walks.

Ms. Lange and her family thanked everyone involved in her rescue and hospital care.
