Six people arrested with total of 2,084 methamphetamine pills, four guns, and bullets in Phuket during Songkran

Six suspects have been arrested with 2,084 methamphetamine pills, four guns, and bullets in Phuket during the Songkran holidays.

The Phuket Provincial Police reports they have arrested six suspects in separate cases which are

  1. Anan ‘Loa’, 31 from Phuket was arrested at a hut in the Soi Raya Sakun in Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from him was 1,010 crystal methamphetamine pills, a handmade hand gun, and 3 bullets. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell and illegal possession of firearm and ammunitions.
  2. Patawee ‘Kit’, 20 from Phuket was arrested in Soi Raya Sakun in the Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from him were 8 methamphetamine pills, a handmade handgun and bullets. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of Category 1 Drugs and illegal possession of firearm and ammunitions.

3. Anusit ‘Loa’, 37 from Phuket was arrested in Soi Raya Sakun in the Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from him were a handmade handgun and bullets. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

4. Sathon ‘Pek’, 32 from Phuket was arrested at a house in the Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from him were a handmade handgun and bullets. He was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition and carrying a gun in public without a permit.

5. Pikun ‘Kung’, 38, from Sakon Nakhom was arrested a rental room in Soi Khun Don Sakun in the Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from her were nine methamphetamine pills. She was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession Category 1 drugs.

  1. Prajong ‘Jong’, 60, from Phuket was arrested at a rental room in Soi Khun Don Sakun in the Thepkasattri sub-district in Thalang. Seized from her were 15 methamphetamine pills. She was taken to the Thalang Police Station to face charges of illegal possession Category 1 drugs.
