Phuket Authorities Conduct Late-Night Inspection of Entertainment Venue, All 58 Drug Tests Come Back Negative

Phuket, September 20, 2026 – In a coordinated late-night operation starting at 12:30 a.m., provincial and district officials inspected an entertainment venue in Mueang Phuket District as part of ongoing efforts to enforce regulations and maintain public order.

The on-site team was led by Phuket Provincial Prevention Officer Akkhara Suwattikul, assisted by Assistant Prevention Officer Panchapong Boonjan, Mueang Phuket District Deputy for Security Affairs Apichat Chantrawong, and District Deputy Natthachanon Chodchoi, along with supporting officers.

Officials confirmed the venue held a valid operating license. Checks of staff and customers found no weapons or related violations.

Authorities then conducted preliminary drug tests on all employees and a random selection of patrons, totaling 58 individuals. Every test returned negative results, with no traces of illicit substances detected.
