Moroccan Missing at Kata Beach

Phuket –

Authorities and rescue teams are continuing their urgent search for a Moroccan tourist who went missing after entering the water at Kata Beach since yesterday evening (September 14th).

Local officials visited the temporary rescue command center set up along the beach to monitor the situation and provide encouragement to the teams working tirelessly on the operation.

Rescue divers from the Kusoldharm Foundation have been deployed to scour the waters, while additional personnel and equipment have been mobilized in coordination with relevant agencies. The search has been ongoing since last night, with teams determined to locate the missing tourist as quickly as possible.

Officials expressed gratitude to all rescue workers and volunteers involved, stating their commitment and dedication. “We send our full support to every officer and team member engaged in this mission, and we hope the tourist will be found and brought back safely soon,” said one of the visiting officials.
