Phuket –
Provincial officials in Phuket carried out a late-night inspection of the entertainment venue “Sod” in Talad Nuea, Muang District, following complaints of loud music and alleged drug use.
The operation began at 11:30 p.m. over the past weekend. Led by Apichat Chantrawong, Security Division Chief of Muang District, the team tested employees and randomly selected patrons for narcotics. A total of 54 individuals were screened, with all results returning negative. Officers also checked for weapons and other illegal items but found none.
Authorities documented the inspection and instructed the venue’s management to strictly comply with regulations governing entertainment establishments.
They expressed the need to control noise levels, adhere to operating hours, and maintain lawful conduct to avoid disturbing nearby residents. This coordinated action shows Phuket’s ongoing efforts to balance nightlife activity with community safety and public order.
