Phuket –
Border Patrol Police Unit 425, working in coordination with the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), carried out a major operation in Phuket that led to the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of nearly 5.7 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (“ice”) along with ketamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities first apprehended three suspects, identified only by aliases “Mr. A” (19), “Mr. B” (18), and “Mr. C” (17) — at a rented room on Ranong Road in Talat Nuea, Mueang Phuket District.
- Seized items:
- 2,684.38 grams (2.68 kg) of crystal meth
- 131.90 grams of ketamine
- Drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and four mobile phones
Police charged the trio with possession of methamphetamine for distribution, possession of ketamine without authorization, and illegal drug use. The suspects were transferred to Phuket City Police Station for further legal proceedings.
Following the initial arrests, investigators expanded the operation and detained another suspect, a 25‑year‑old man referred to as “Mr. M.” He was caught in separate locations along Naphakhun Soi and Satun Road in Talat Nuea.

- 85 ketamine‑laced vape pods
Mr. M faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and ketamine with intent to distribute, illegal drug use, and driving under the influence of narcotics.
Combined, the operation resulted in the confiscation of approximately 5.68 kilograms of crystal meth and over 200 grams of ketamine, marking one of the largest drug seizures in Phuket this year.
