A fire broke out late Wednesday afternoon (August 12th) at a luxury residence in Kamala, sending thick smoke billowing from the third floor of the property. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
At approximately 5:10 p.m., Pol. Lt. Phirawat Yodtor, an investigator with Kamala Police Station, received an emergency call about the blaze at a residence. The incident was immediately relayed to Pol. Col. Anurak Parinyasathirakul, Superintendent of Kamala Police, who coordinated with local fire crews from the Kamala Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
Witnesses said an acquaintance of the house caretaker noticed smoke and flames erupting from the upper floor and quickly alerted authorities. Firefighters arriving on scene found the third floor engulfed in flames and worked swiftly to contain the blaze before it could spread further.
Initial inspections confirmed that no residents were inside the home at the time of the incident. Damage was concentrated on the third floor, which sustained significant fire and smoke destruction.
