Phuket –
Phuket City Police, in coordination with the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office, executed a search warrant and arrested a 25-year-old woman for illegally selling unlicensed weight-loss products online.
Officials told the Phuket Express that the suspect, identified only as Ms. “Ploy” (alias), was apprehended in a rented room in the Rassada Subdistrict, Muang District, Phuket. Officers seized several items of evidence, including:
- Four sets of “PEPTIDE” weight-loss kits containing Tirzepatide 10 mg, bacteriostatic water, and syringes.
- Additional syringes of various sizes.
- One iPhone 16 Pro mobile phone.
The arrest followed complaints from local residents that the room was being used to sell unauthorized weight-loss products. Police conducted surveillance and later moved in with a search warrant.
Authorities charged the suspect under the Drug Act B.E. 2510 (1967):
- Section 12 – prohibiting the manufacture, sale, or import of modern drugs without a license.
- Section 72 – prohibiting the sale or import of drugs not registered with the Food and Drug Administration.
The suspect and seized items were handed over to Phuket City Police investigators for legal proceedings.
