Patong –
Police in Patong have arrested a Saudi Arabian national on charges of possessing and intending to distribute illegal narcotics.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that the arrest took place in the parking area in front of a hotel on Muen Ngern Road, extending to the suspect’s room. Officers seized multiple items of evidence during the operation, including:
- Crystal methamphetamine (Category 1 narcotic) weighing approximately 4.04 grams
- Cocaine (Category 2 narcotic) weighing approximately 1.70 grams
- One mobile phone
- One digital scale
Authorities allege that the suspect was in possession of crystal methamphetamine with intent to sell, without authorization, and also held cocaine illegally.
The suspect was taken into custody and transferred to investigators at Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings. The Saudi Arabian Suspect did not release any statement as of the press time.
