Phuket—
Authorities raided an illegal gambling den where they have arrested 10 suspects in Phuket.
The Phuket Provincial Administration Officer told the Phuket Express that they conducted a raid following public complaints about ongoing illegal gambling. The gambling ring had reportedly been shifting locations to evade detection, with the latest site discovered in Kathu.

Upon arrival, officers found a large group engaged in gambling activities, including hi-lo dice games and a card game. While several participants managed to flee using their knowledge of the area, ten suspects were apprehended, seven men and three women.

Authorities seized key evidence, including:
- One deck of playing cards
- Cash totaling 1,580 baht
- A complete set of hi-lo gambling equipment

The suspects face charges of:
- Participating in illegal gambling (kao kaew) for monetary gain without authorization.
- Hosting and organizing illegal gambling activities.
All ten suspects confessed to the charges and were subsequently transferred to Kathu Police Station for legal proceedings.
