Phuket –
Police in Phuket have arrested a 27-year-old man accused of committing a series of burglaries across the island, ending a spree that had frustrated residents and business owners for weeks.
Officers from Wichit Police Station executed a warrant issued by the Phuket Provincial Court. The suspect, identified only as Mr. Sun, was discovered hiding in the ceiling of a rented room in the Sri Sunthorn Subdistrict, Thalang District. He was taken into custody and brought to the Wichit Station for questioning and further investigation.

Authorities say the suspect had repeatedly targeted neighborhoods in Vichit, Kathu, and possibly other districts. His record includes:
- June 13 – Cutting motorcycle fuel lines at an apartment complex in Wichit and siphoning petrol into bottles.
- June 14 – Breaking into coin-operated washing machines in Na Suea Soi.
- June 19 – Stealing shoes, clothing, cash, and personal belongings from a residence at Central Residence in Wichit. He was also linked to thefts at bars in Kathu and remains wanted in a separate firearms case.
Police believe the suspect may be connected to additional crimes across Phuket and are coordinating with other stations to expand the investigation.
