Phuket authorities have expanded a drug suppression operation in Kathu District, resulting in the seizure of 451 methamphetamine pills and 44.19 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
This week, the Kathu District Anti-Narcotics Task Force carried out the operation in Moo 9, Soi Ban Khok Tonod in Chalong. The team successfully confiscated methamphetamine tablets and crystal meth, classified as Category 1 narcotics under Thai law.
All seized substances were handed over to investigators at Chalong Police Station for formal complaint filing and prosecution of the offenders. This operation shows the continued commitment of Phuket’s provincial and district authorities to combat narcotics trafficking and safeguard community safety.
