The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), through the Crime Suppression Division (CSD), has arrested a 45‑year‑old Russian national identified as Miss Kristine for operating an illegal cosmetic clinic inside a luxury villa in Thalang, Phuket.
Authorities charged her with multiple offenses, including:
- Operating a medical facility without authorization
- Selling unregistered medical devices and pharmaceuticals
- Practicing medicine without a license
- Importing drugs and medical equipment without proper registration
The raid followed an investigation by CSD Subdivision 5, which uncovered evidence of foreign nationals running unauthorized beauty clinics in Phuket. Working with the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office, police obtained a search warrant from the Phuket Provincial Court (No. 107/2569) and entered the villa.
Inside, officers found a client lying on a treatment bed, apparently in the middle of a cosmetic procedure. A search of the premises revealed a large cache of medical supplies and drugs, including collagen injections, lidocaine, botulinum toxin type A, cross‑linked hyaluronic acid, syringes, and needles. In total, 32 categories of items amounting to 130 pieces were seized, with an estimated value exceeding 600,000 baht.
Miss Kristine admitted she had no medical license and that some of the products had been smuggled in from Russia via the airport. She was unable to produce any permits for operating a medical facility. Despite this, she denied all charges during questioning.
The operation was directed by senior CIB officials: Police Lieutenant General Natthasak Chaonanasai (CIB Commissioner), Police Major General Phatthanasak Bubphasuwan (CSD Commander), and Police Colonel Thanawat Hinyokhin (CSD Subdivision 5 Commander). The arrest team was led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Thanisorn Huiwechachat, together with officers from CSD Subdivision 5 and Phuket’s public health authorities.
Miss Kristine and the confiscated evidence were handed over to Thalang Police Station for further legal proceedings.
