The government is inviting Thai and international visitors to join Phuket Pride Festival 2026, a weeklong celebration of equality, diversity, and acceptance taking place in Patong from June 1 to 7. Held under the theme “From Visibility to Equality,” the festival seeks to elevate Thailand’s Pride celebrations to an international audience while supporting tourism and encouraging a more inclusive society.
Deputy Government Spokesperson Ploytalay Laksameesangchan said the program will feature sporting, educational, academic, and entertainment events for participants from a wide range of backgrounds. Among the key activities is the 3rd Diversity Forum on June 4, which will provide a platform for discussions and exchanges of views on gender diversity and inclusion.
Another major attraction is the Miss Queen Andaman Power 2026 competition, taking place on June 5 at Jungceylon Shopping Center in Patong. The event, Phuket’s largest transgender beauty pageant, will crown the 11th “Rainbow Pearl of the Andaman,” who will serve as an ambassador for Phuket Pride Festival.
The festival will conclude with the Phuket Pride Parade on June 7, with participants marching from Prachanukhro Road along Thaweewong Road before gathering at Patong Beach.
