Phuket –

Phuket authorities have confirmed the discovery of a body believed to be that of a Myanmar national who went missing after a fishing trip three days earlier.

According to reports, the man had set out alone on his motorcycle to fish from the rocky outcrops at the tip of Ao Nam Dam, near Paradise Beach in Patong. Relatives became concerned when he failed to return home and subsequently alerted rescue teams.

Search efforts led to the discovery of his motorcycle parked near the site, along with his personal belongings, a bag, shoes, and fishing rod, left behind. Despite extensive searches, the man could not be located.

On June 5th, lifeguards patrolling Patong Beach spotted a body washed ashore. Authorities believe it to be the missing fisherman, who was likely swept away by strong waves while fishing.
