The Tha Chatchai Police told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday (May 27th) during the inspection, officers discovered illicit substances and a firearm concealed on the suspect. The seized items included:

  • 0.895 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ice)
  • One unregistered .22 caliber semi‑automatic pistol
  • Five rounds of .22 ammunition

The suspect was immediately informed of his rights and charged with possession of Category 1 narcotics and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. He and the evidence were transferred to Tha Chatchai Police Station for further legal proceedings.
