Phuket-
Police in Phuket arrested a 30-year-old man after discovering narcotics concealed inside a wireless earphone case during a raid on his residence in Wichit.
The Wichit Police told the Phuekt Express that officers executed the search and apprehended the suspect, identified as Mr. Athiphong, at his home in Wichit. Authorities charged him with possession of Category 1 narcotics, crystal methamphetamine (commonly known as “ice”) and heroin, in violation of Thai law.
Police reported confiscating six items as evidence:
- Crystal methamphetamine (ice): 0.34 grams, packaged in a plastic bag hidden inside a green wireless earphone case with yellow trim.
- Heroin: 0.11 grams, contained in a small sealed tube, also hidden in the same earphone case.
- Earphone case used for concealment.
- Mobile phone (Vivo brand).
- Two motorcycles: a white Honda PCX and a black Honda Wave 125.
The total value of seized assets was estimated at 180,000 baht.
