Phuket Reports Total of Four Deaths in Six Days of Songkran Seven Days of Danger Road

Phuket has reported in total 28 road accidents with 26 injuries and four deaths on the sixth day (April 15th) of Songkran Festival’s intensive monitoring period, which runs from April 10 to 16, 2026.

On April 15th, the sixth day of the campaign, five road accidents were recorded. Six men and a woman which were four Thais and three Myanmar, were hospitalized with injuries, but no fatalities occurred.

Between April 10–15, 2026 (Six Days)
  • Accidents: 28 cases
  • Injuries (hospitalized): 26 people (20 men, 6 women)
    • Nationalities: 13 Thai, 6 Myanmar, 2 Russian, 2 British, 1 Turkish, 1 French, 1 German
  • Fatalities: 4 people (3 men, 1 woman, all Thai nationals)
