Phuket Reports Total of Three Deaths in Three Days of Songkran Seven Days of Danger Road Campaign

Phuket has reported in total three deaths on the third day (April 12th) of Songkran Festival’s intensive monitoring period, which runs from April 10 to 16, 2026.

On the third day April 12th of the campaign, Phuket recorded two road accidents.

• Accidents: 2 cases
• Injuries: 2 admitted (1 male, 1 female)
  • Nationalities: France (1), Myanmar (1)

Cumulative Report (April 10–12)

• Accidents: 14 cases
• Injuries: 11 admitted (7 male, 4 female)
  • Nationalities: Thailand (4), Russia (2), United Kingdom (1), Myanmar (2), Turkey (1), France (1)
• Fatalities: 3 (2 male, 1 female — all Thai nationals)

The Phuket Express noted on April 13th, officials have changed the numbers of road accidents and deaths on the first day report from four road accidents to five and from one death to two deaths.
