Phuket Reports Two Deaths in Two Days of Songkran Seven Days of Danger Road Campaign

Phuket has reported in total two deaths on the second day (April 11th) of Songkran Festival’s intensive monitoring period, which runs from April 10 to 16, 2026.

On the second day April 11th of the campaign, Phuket recorded seven road accidents.

Cumulative Report: April 10–11, 2026 (First Two Days)

Over the first two days of the Songkran safety campaign, Phuket has documented:

  • Total accidents: 11 cases
  • Injuries: Nine hospital admissions (seven men, two women). Victims included four Thai nationals, two Russians, one British, one Myanmar citizen, and one Turkish national.
  • Fatalities: Two deaths (one Thai man and one Thai woman).
