The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM), has reported 135 accidents, resulting in 132 injuries and 20 fatalities on the first day (April 10th) of the Songkran Seven Days of Danger Road campaign which runs from April 10 to 16, 2026.

- Straight roads – 78.52%
- Highways – 48.15%
- Local roads (subdistrict/village) – 20.74%
- Peak accident time:
- 3:01 PM – 6:00 PM (21.48%)
- Most affected age group:
- 60–69 years (18.42%)
- Provincial breakdown:
- Highest number of accidents: Trang and Songkhla (8 each)
- Highest injuries: Trang (9)
- Highest fatalities: Prachinburi and Songkhla (2 each)
- 59 provinces reported zero deaths.
