Police Lieutenant General Saksira Phuekaam, Commissioner of the Tourism Police, together with Boonserm Khankaew, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Tourism, led a field visit to Phuket to monitor tourism activities and review safety operations. The delegation met with local officials and inspected frontline efforts to ensure readiness for the influx of visitors during Thailand’s biggest annual festival.

At 5:00 p.m., the team visited Royal Phuket Marina to oversee proactive measures under the White Tourism Community program. Key activities included:
- Drug testing for transport and tour boat staff to guarantee safe services for travelers.
- Strict enforcement of regulations with operators reminded to comply fully with laws and safety standards.
- Comprehensive safety oversight on land and sea, aimed at reassuring both domestic and international tourists of their well-being throughout the holiday period.
