Phuket –
A fire erupted on Friday (March 27th) afternoon at a two-storey residential building located near Kohsit Vihara Temple, sending emergency crews rushing to the scene.
One man sustained burn injuries, suffering blisters and wounds from the flames. He was quickly assisted by rescue teams and transferred for medical treatment.
Municipal firefighters from Phuket City, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (Region 18), and local police coordinated efforts to contain the blaze and secure the area. Their immediate priority was both extinguishing the fire and ensuring the safety of residents and bystanders.
Authorities are currently working to bring the situation under control and assess the extent of property damage. Further details are expected to be released once investigations and damage evaluations are complete.
