Brazen Teenager Thieves Breaks Into Kebab Restaurant, Steals Cash, and Poses for a Photo

Phuket –

Police in Phuket are investigating a bizarre burglary at a kebab restaurant located in front of a local shopping mall, after a thief not only stole cash but also posed for a souvenir photo before leaving the scene.

According to staff, the incident occurred at 3:19 a.m. on March 11th. When employees arrived later that morning, they discovered signs of forced entry and found that approximately 1,500 baht in cash had been taken. The manager was immediately notified, and CCTV footage was reviewed.

The footage revealed a group of young men outside the restaurant. One of them, who made no attempt to conceal his face, entered the premises, pried open a storage area, and took the money. After climbing back out through a window, the suspect astonishingly asked his companions to take a photo of him as a keepsake before the group calmly walked away.

The restaurant staff filed a formal complaint with Phuket City Police, who are now working to identify and apprehend the suspects. Authorities noted the unusual boldness of the crime, which could aid in tracking down the suspects.
