Officials in Phuket launched a major anti-drug operation in Rawai, resulting in the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of thousands of methamphetamine pills, crystal meth, and ammunition.

District Officials told the Phuket Express that the operation was carried out on Friday (March 6th). Officials led by District Deputy Chief Thiti Boonyasthian and members of the territorial defense volunteer unit raided a wooden house with no registration number in Rawai.

- Primary suspect: A 26-year-old man was found with 4,144 methamphetamine pills. He faces charges of possession with intent to sell, distribution of Category 1 narcotics, and illegal drug use.
- Second suspect: A 17-year-old male was caught with 10 methamphetamine pills, 0.57 grams of crystal meth, and three shotgun cartridges. He was charged with illegal possession of narcotics and ammunition, as well as drug use.
- Third and fourth suspects: Two 20-year-old men were each found with four methamphetamine pills. Both face charges of illegal possession and drug use.

Authorities also seized an additional 186 methamphetamine pills and one mobile phone during the operation.
In total, the raid yielded 4,348 methamphetamine pills, 0.57 grams of crystal meth, and three shotgun cartridges. The suspects and evidence were handed over to investigators for prosecution.
