Illegal Nightclub Raided For Operating Without License

Phuket

Relevant officials raided an unlicensed nightclub in Phuket Town after receiving complaints that foreign nationals were hosting late-night parties inside the venue.

The operation was led by Deputy District Chief Akkara Suwattikul. They inspected the establishment located near the former municipal slaughterhouse intersection in Talad Nuea.

Mr. Akkara told the Phuket Express that authorities discovered that the venue was operating without a permit to run as an entertainment establishment and failed to present any legal documentation. The manager, identified only as Mr. Koby, 30, was taken into custody. Officers also seized 12 items of evidence from the premises.

The suspect now faces charges of “operating an entertainment venue without authorization” and “selling alcoholic beverages beyond legal hours.” He was transferred, along with the confiscated evidence, to Phuket Town Police Station for further legal proceedings.
