Four Suspects Arrested with Illegal Drugs in Rawai

Authorities in Phuket carried out a late-night raid in Rawai, dismantling a drug den and arresting four suspects with significant quantities of methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine.

The operation, launched at around 1:40 a.m.. was acting on community complaints about drug activity in the area, a special task force from the provincial administration moved in to suppress narcotics trafficking and gatherings that had disturbed local residents.

Details of the Arrests

• First group: Two suspects were apprehended , 42.22 grams of crystal meth, and two mobile phones. They face charges of jointly possessing and distributing Category 1 narcotics with intent to sell, as well as illegal drug use.

• Second group: Two additional suspects were arrested with 10 methamphetamine pills, 1.21 grams of crystal meth, a motorcycle, and two mobile phones. They were charged with possession of Category 1 narcotics, drug use, and driving under the influence of drugs.

All four suspects, along with the seized evidence, were handed over to investigators at Chalong Police Station for further legal action.
