Park Rangers Cracks Down on Unauthorized Beach ฺBeds Umbrellas at Nai Thon Beach

Thalang –

Authorities at Sirinat National Park have launched a strict enforcement campaign at Nai Thon Beach, ordering the removal of umbrellas and beach chairs that were set up without permission. The move is to restore order and preserve the natural beauty of the protected coastline.

During an inspection led by Park Chief Paphawin Yanglang and his team, officials discovered numerous umbrellas and chairs placed along the beach in violation of park regulations. Operators and individuals responsible have been instructed to dismantle and remove all items by the end of February.

Mr. Paphawin told the Phuket Express. To prevent repeat violations, the park has installed prominent signs along the beach, explicitly stating: “No umbrellas or chairs allowed within the national park.” Officials explained that the rules are designed to protect the environment and ensure fair use of public space.

The enforcement effort is part of a broader initiative to maintain cleanliness, order, and the pristine character of Nai Thon Beach. Authorities stressed that the area must remain free from commercial encroachment, in line with its status as a protected natural site.

Park officials also discussed the importance of cooperation from both local businesses and tourists, urging everyone to respect national park regulations. Continuous monitoring will be carried out to safeguard Phuket’s coastal resources for future generations.
