Phuket-
Police in Phuket have arrested a 24-year-old local man accused of supplying nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas,” along with heroin and cocaine to foreign tourists.
At around 8:30 p.m., investigators led by Pol. Lt. Col. Kornpol Liangboonjinda and Pol. Lt. Col. Kan Aksonthong from Phuket City Police apprehended the suspect, identified only as Mr. Wit, outside a condominium in Talad Nuea subdistrict. A later search of his residence uncovered a significant cache of illegal substances, including:
• 31 canisters of nitrous oxide
• 0.58 grams of heroin
• 1.09 grams of cocaine

Authorities charged the suspect with multiple offenses, including unauthorized sale of nitrous oxide, possession and use of heroin and cocaine, and unlawful possession of controlled substances.
Phuket City Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Chatree Chukaew said the arrest followed public complaints that young dealers were targeting foreign tourists in nightlife areas by offering laughing gas and narcotics. Officers tracked the suspect to his condominium, where the drugs were allegedly stored for distribution.
