Suspect Arrested on Road with 396 Methamphetamine Pill in Thalang Street-Level Drug Crackdown 

Phuket –

Authorities in Thalang carried out a decisive operation against narcotics trafficking as part of the government’s ongoing campaign to restore public order and curb the influence of criminal networks.

Thalang Officials told the Phuket Express that during the operation, officers arrested one suspect, identified only as Mr. A, on a public road, Thepkrasattri. The suspect was found in possession of 396 methamphetamine tablets.

He now faces multiple charges, including:

  • Possession of Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine) with intent to sell, without authorization.
  • Consumption of methamphetamine, in violation of the law.
  • Driving under the influence of methamphetamine.

The suspect was handed over to investigators at Thalang Police Station for prosecution.
