In an act of ultimate sacrifice, she offered herself as a hostage in exchange for the safety of her students and fellow teachers. According to ministry spokesperson Lt. Thanun Wongjinda, the proposal will be submitted to the Prime Minister’s Office under regulations governing exceptional merit awards.

The Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) has been tasked with:
• Coordinating with the Ministry of Public Health to ensure medical care for the other injured.
• Deploying multidisciplinary psychological support teams to assist teachers and students.
• Reviewing and tightening school safety protocols nationwide to prevent similar tragedies.

Minister Narumon stated that beyond honoring the fallen director, the ministry’s priority is to provide comprehensive welfare and psychological healing for the school community.
