Phuket –
Police in Wichit have arrested a man accused of repeatedly stealing parcels from condominium delivery points, following a complaint from a local resident whose online purchase went missing earlier this month.
The Wichit Police told the Phuket Express that at 8:45 p.m. on Monday (February 9th), officers detained Mr. Teera, a native of Nakhon Si Thammarat, and seized evidence. During questioning, the suspect admitted to drug use and confessed to stealing parcels from condominium buildings in the area on at least three occasions. He told police that he sold or pawned the stolen goods to fund his drug habit.

Police confirmed that the suspect had confessed to three prior thefts and urged other victims who may have lost parcels to file complaints at Wichit Police Station or other relevant stations so additional charges can be pursued.

The arrest stemmed from a case reported on February 7th, when a resident complained that a Tissot 1853 wristwatch worth over 20,000 baht, ordered online by his daughter, had disappeared after being left at a condominium parcel drop-off point. CCTV footage showed a man taking the package and fleeing on a motorbike on February 1st.
Following the report, investigators tracked down the suspect and secured his arrest. He has been handed over to Wichit Police Station for further legal proceedings.
