The Chief Land Traffic Officer of Phuket Province has issued a regulation prohibiting large vehicles from using the Darasamut Underpass on Highway No. 4024 between 6:00 A.M. – 9 P.M. daily.
Large vehicles to be prohibited in the underpass (Highway No. 4024) are freight trucks with 3 axles or more / 10-wheel trucks and trailers and passenger buses with more than 30 seats (large buses). The effective Date will be from 1 March 2026 onwards.
All road users are requested to strictly comply with this regulation to ensure traffic safety and public order.
