Future Vibes (Thailand), in partnership with U.S.-based entertainment giant Insomniac, has positioned EDC Thailand as a cornerstone of its five-year vision to elevate Phuket into Asia’s premier hub for electronic music and global events. The festival is expected to welcome at least 150,000 attendees and generate over 2.5 billion baht in economic activity, reinforcing Phuket’s growing reputation as a destination for international-scale experiences.

EDC Thailand debuted in 2025 with resounding success, attracting more than 150,000 visitors and ranking as the third-largest EDC festival worldwide, behind only Las Vegas and Mexico. This year’s edition promises to be “Bigger, Brighter, and More Immersive Than Ever,” with production standards on par with EDC Las Vegas.

Festival highlights include iconic stages such as kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, stereoBLOOM, bionicJUNGLE, and boombox Stage. The event also introduces Downtown EDC, a cultural hub blending global EDM vibes with Phuket’s local identity, featuring attractions like the Center Tower, Wedding Chapel, Kandi Casino, Diva Show, and Karaoke Battle.

Organizers explain that EDC Thailand is a group effort with local authorities and communities. The event has already boosted demand for hotels, restaurants, and local businesses, with accommodations near the venue fully booked. Average visitor spending is estimated at 60,000 baht, showing the festival’s role as a driver of tourism and creative industries.

Authorities, including the Phuket Governor, provincial police, and district officials, have coordinated closely with organizers to ensure safety, traffic management, public health, and environmental sustainability. The festival’s commitment to minimizing community impact while maximizing economic benefits reflects its long-term vision of growth alongside Phuket residents.

“EDC Thailand is about creating a global event that grows together with Phuket,” said Napamanas Sangthasap, Chairman and CEO of Future Vibes. “We are committed to expanding community involvement, protecting the environment, and enhancing quality of life, while showcasing Thailand’s potential on the world stage.”

With its philosophy of “All Are Welcome Here,” EDC Thailand 2026 stands as both a celebration of electronic music and a strategic engine for Thailand’s tourism and creative economy. As the beats reverberate across Rhythm Park, Phuket is firmly stepping into the spotlight as Asia’s newest capital of electronic music culture.
