Etihad Flight Encounters Turbulence Before Landing in Phuket, All Passengers Safe

At 11:30 a.m., Phuket International Airport received a report from Etihad Airways flight EY 416, traveling from Abu Dhabi to Phuket, that the aircraft had encountered turbulence during its approach.

Initial alerts suggested possible injuries among passengers and crew, prompting airport authorities to coordinate with local medical teams to prepare emergency response measures under the airport’s safety protocols.

By 12:00 p.m., the aircraft landed safely at Phuket International Airport. Airport Director Monchai Tanod confirmed that no passengers or crew required hospital treatment. All travelers continued their journeys to their accommodations without incident.
