Fire Quickly Contained at Wood Factory in Wichit

A fire erupted at a wood factory along Thep Anusorn Road in Wichit, late this afternoon, prompting a swift emergency response.

At 5:28 p.m. on Thursday (January 8th), the Wichit Municipality Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Division received reports of the blaze and immediately dispatched fire trucks to the site. Firefighters were joined by peacekeeping officers, emergency medical personnel, and police from Wichit Police Station in efforts to contain the flames.

The coordinated response brought the situation under control within 30 minutes. Initial inspections confirmed that no injuries or fatalities occurred. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.

The incident shows the readiness of local emergency services, whose rapid action prevented the blaze from spreading further and minimized potential damage.
