Two Drug Dealers Arrested, Over 900 Meth Pills Seized in Phuket

Authorities in Thalang District intensified their anti-drug operations, arresting two suspected dealers and confiscating a significant haul of narcotics, including 931 methamphetamine pills and 12.18 grams of crystal meth.

The mission was assigned to Chaiporn Yangjeen, Thalang District officer and ONCB official, supported by members of the Thalang Volunteer Defense Corps (Unit 3).

Investigations led to the arrests in Moo 4, Sri Sunthorn Subdistrict, and Moo 7, Thepkrasattri. Both suspects face charges of possessing Category 1 narcotics (methamphetamine and crystal meth) with intent to sell without authorization.

The accused and seized evidence were handed over to Thalang Police Station for further legal proceedings.
