British Tourist Injured in Knife Attack in Phuket

A 34-year-old British man was injured in a knife attack in the Cherng Talay area of Phuket, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement and emergency services.

Police were alerted to the incident and quickly dispatched patrol and investigative units from Cherng Talay Police Station. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, identified as Mr. Louis Jaravee, suffering from a knife wound to his right arm. Rescue personnel from the Cherng Talay Subdistrict Administrative Organization provided initial medical assistance before transferring him to Thalang Hospital for further treatment.

Preliminary investigations suggest the assailant is a foreign national whose identity remains unknown. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Authorities are now reviewing CCTV footage from the area and intensifying efforts to track down the perpetrator.

Police have vowed to pursue the suspect and bring them to justice, urging anyone with information to come forward.
