Southern Thailand —
Flooding continues to grip nine provinces across southern Thailand, with water levels beginning to recede in parts of Songkhla, Phatthalung, and Surat Thani, while six other provinces face worsening conditions. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has mobilized emergency teams, heavy machinery, and relief supplies to assist affected communities as the crisis unfolds.
According to DDPM Director-General Teerapat Kachamat, the intensified northeast monsoon has triggered severe flooding across the region.

- Affected provinces: Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phatthalung, Satun, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat
- Extent: 105 districts, 708 sub-districts, 5,243 villages
- Impact: More than 1 million households (2.95 million people) affected
- Fatalities: 25 confirmed deaths, including six in Nakhon Si Thammarat and five in Songkhla. Unfortunately, many more are expected or not officially reported.

Provincial Situation
- Surat Thani: Floodwaters easing in seven districts; 42,000 people affected.
- Nakhon Si Thammarat: Rising waters in 22 districts; over 637,000 people impacted.
- Trang: Nine districts inundated; 47,000 residents affected.
- Phatthalung: Water levels falling in 11 districts; 454,000 people affected.
- Satun: Rising waters in seven districts; nearly 69,000 residents impacted.
- Songkhla: Floods receding in 16 districts; 370,000 households affected.
- Pattani: Rising waters in 12 districts; 114,000 households impacted.
- Yala: Eight districts affected; 122,000 people impacted.
- Narathiwat: Rising waters in 13 districts; 281,000 people affected.
