Water Spout Strikes Song Khla, Damaging Over 50 Homes and Injuring Two – VIDEO

Ranod, Song Khla –

On November 24th, 2025, a sudden tornado hit the Ban Khao Subdistrict in the Ranot District of Songkhla Province, leaving widespread destruction in its wake. The storm struck around 4:30 p.m., tearing through villages 3 and 4 in less than ten minutes but causing severe damage.

Two residents sustained minor injuries, while more than 50 houses were damaged. Approximately 200 people were directly affected, with many homes losing their rooftops due to powerful winds.

Several electricity poles collapsed, and fallen trees blocked roads, prompting authorities to cut off power in the area to prevent electrical hazards.

Local officials quickly evacuated residents from high-risk zones. Relief agencies are now assessing the damage, setting up temporary shelters, and distributing essential supplies to affected families.
