Nigerian Man Arrested in Patong for Alleged Cocaine Sales

Phuket –
A 31-year-old Nigerian man was arrested in Patong for allegedly selling cocaine, following a sting operation conducted by the Patong Police Investigation Unit.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that the arrest took place at approximately 6:55 PM in the parking area of Patong Hospital, located in Kathu. Officers seized two small packets of cocaine weighing approximately 1.10 grams, which had been obtained through a controlled purchase involving 6,000 baht in marked currency.

The suspect faces charges of illegally selling a Category 2 narcotic (cocaine) without authorization. He was taken into custody and transferred, along with the seized evidence, to Patong Police Station for further legal proceedings.
