Phuket-
Two tourists—a Thai national and a German visitor—were safely rescued after going missing during a diving trip near Racha Noi Island, a popular destination off the coast of Phuket.

The incident occurred on Thursday (October 23rd) in the waters off Rang Kai Bay, where the pair had been exploring underwater sites. When they failed to return, local operators alerted authorities at 3:00 PM, prompting a coordinated search and rescue operation led by the Third Naval Area Command (NAC3).

Vice Admiral Veerudom Muangjeen, Commander of the Third Naval Area and Director of NAC3, ordered patrol vessel Tor 272 to assist in the search. Divers from the Kusoldharm Foundation also joined the mission, alongside speedboats Racha 4 and Racha 15, which were already combing the area.
By 5:00 PM, both tourists were found clinging to rocks in the sea and were successfully brought aboard rescue vessels. Neither sustained serious injuries, and both were transported safely back to shore.
