Phuket —
The search for a missing Chinese tourist came to a tragic end on the morning of October 3rd, 2025, when rescue teams recovered the body near Koh Man, off the coast of Nai Harn Beach in the Rawai Subdistrict.
The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that the tourist had been reported missing on October 1st. The Rawai Mayor Tems Kraitas, alongside municipal council members, disaster prevention officers, lifeguards, and rescue personnel from Kusoldharm Foundation, the Third Naval Area Command, and neighboring municipalities including Chalong and Karon, coordinated efforts from a temporary search center established at Nai Harn Beach.

After two days of intensive operations, the search team located the body near Koh Man. The remains were transported back to Nai Harn Beach, where officers from Chalong Police Station and medical personnel conducted a preliminary examination. The body was then transferred to a local hospital by the Phuket Ruamjai Rescue Foundation for a formal autopsy.

Following the recovery, Rawai Municipality officially closed the search center and extended heartfelt thanks to all participating agencies for their swift and collaborative response.
